We are roughly midway between Gloucester and Cheltenham; on the opposite side of the B4063 to Gloucestershire Airport.

Approaching from M5.

Exit the M5 at junction 11 towards Cheltenham on to the A40, Golden Valley bypass. At the next roundabout take the first exit on to B4063 towards Gloucestershire Airport. Then follow the Approaching from Cheltenham on the B4063 directions below.

Approaching from Cheltenham on the B4063:

Drive past the "H.Buckland" car dismatlers, past the "White House" hotel, under the moterway bridge, past two sets of traffic lights with Gloucestershire Airport on your left. Continue to the next set of traffic lights, passing the large white "Sultran Landing Systems" factory buildings, Turn RIGHT onto Down Hatherley Lane, continue for approximately 400yards and turn RIGHT at the "Dowty Sports & Social Society" sign. Follow this lane, bearing right behind the main club house and through the car park, the bowls green is to the right of the flat roofed buildings ahead.

Approaching from Gloucester on the B4063.

Drive through Churchdown, (past the Brickhampton Court Golf Club entrance) to the traffic lights immediately before the large white "Sultran Landing Systems" factory buildings. Turn LEFT onto Down Hatherley Lane for approximately 400yards, then turn RIGHT at the "Dowty Sports & Social Society" sign. Follow this lane, bearing right behind the main club house and through the car park, the bowls green is to the right of the flat roofed buildings ahead.

Approaching from Gloucester on the A38.

Drive through Twigworth, (past the Norton Garden Centre) to turn RIGHT onto Down Hatherley Lane. Follow the road past the Hatherley Manor Hotel on your left, past the sharp right and left bends with a church on your right. About 0.5 miles past these bends and immediately before the "Sultran Landing Systems" factory turn LEFT on to lane leading to Dowty Sports & Social Club house. Follow this lane, bearing right behind the main club house and through the car park, the bowls green is to the right of the flat roofed buildings ahead.

Approaching from Tewksbury on the A38:

Drive past Norton (on right with Red Lion pub) for about 0.5miles, passing Chestnut farm and Twigworth Breakers on your right, turn LEFT on to Down Hatherley Lane. Follow the road past the Hatherley Manor Hotel on your left, past the sharp right and left bends (with a church on your right). About 0.5 miles past these bends and immediately before the "Sultran Landing Systems" factory turn LEFT on to lane leading to Dowty Sports & Social Club house. Follow this lane, bearing right behind the main club house and through the car park, the bowls green is to the right of the flat roofed buildings ahead.

Exiting on to Down Hatherley Lane:

When re-joining Down Hatherley Lane please be aware that whilst it is a fairly quiet road, some traffic moves at speed and visibility to the right particularly is restricted.
